Please call our Customer Support number at: 1.800.337.3630, option 4 for all technical-related questions.
You can discard the terminal as you would any electronic device. Please be sure to remove the merchant ID sticker from the side of the device and clear out the old terminal before disconnecting.
We do not need the old terminal returned. Please refer to the instructions above.
The new terminal is plug and play, connect it to power and connection sources and begin processing. For your convenience, a cheat sheet has been included in the box with details on set-up and usage. If you have any issues, please contact us at 1-800-337-3630, Option 3.
No, there will not be any changes to your existing rates or contract.
The PAXA80 Quick Reference and Info sheet (see below) provides detailed instructions on transactions.
Please be sure to close out (settle) your old terminal before disconnecting it.
Your equipment has already been programmed and is ready to use.
For Dial Service
1. Simply plug the terminal power supply into the top right port labeled “POWER.”
2. Plug the opposite end into a surge protected power strip (recommended.)
3. Plug the phone line into the bottom left port labeled “LINE.”
4. Once connected, call us and we can walk you through an optional short training.
For Ethernet Service

1. Simply plug the Ethernet cable into the top left port labeled “LAN.”
2. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into an available router or network switch.
3. AFTER the previous step, plug the power supply into the top right port labeled “POWER.”
4. Plug the opposite end into a surge protected power strip (recommended.)
5. Once connected, call us and we can walk you through an optional short training.
Sale with Card
1. Press the Vantiv icon on the home screen
2. Press “Sale”
3. Enter amount and press “CONFIRM”
4. IF Chip card, insert card into chip reader at base of terminal
(If not chip card, then swipe magnetic stripe as usual)
5. Leave chip card in terminal until terminal says “Remove Card”
6. Once card is removed receipt will follow
Sale without Card or Unreadable Card
1. Press “Sale”
2. Press in dollar and cents amount then press “CONFIRM”
3. Tap on box to enter account number
4. Type in account number
5. Press keyboard icon on bottom left
6. Press “CONFIRM”
7. Enter expiration date
8. Press “CONFIRM”
9. Enter ZIP Code and press “CONFIRM” or press “CONFIRM” to bypass entering
ZIP
10. Sale receipt will follow
To Void a Transaction (May be used ONLY before transactions are settled)
1. Choose “V/SALE”
2. (Password = 1208) Press “CONFIRM”
3. Enter Transaction number from receipt
4. Scroll up on screen until “CONFIRM” is visible
5. Press “CONFIRM” on screen
6. Void receipt will follow
To Refund an Account (Used ONLY after terminal is settled)
1. Press “Return”
2. Enter amount and press “CONFIRM”
3. Tap on box and enter account number
4. Press keyboard icon on bottom left
5. Press “CONFIRM”
6. Enter expiration date
7. Press “CONFIRM”
To Reprint a Receipt
1. Press “FUNC” on top bar
2. Press “Re-Print”
3. Choose option
4. Follow prompts on screen
To Print a Batch Report
1. Press “FUNC” on top bar
2. Press “Reports”
3. (Password = 1208) Press Confirm
4. Choose desired report
To Close Out and Send Funds to Bank
1. Press “FUNC” on top bar
2. Press “Batch”
3. Press “Batch Close”
